Day 1: Arrival and Escape to the Jungle
Your adventure begins with a private pickup from Kuala Namu International Airport (KNO) or your hotel in Medan. Sit back and relax during a scenic 4-hour drive through the rolling Sumatran countryside and traditional villages. Once you arrive at the gateway of the rainforest, check into your lodge and enjoy a leisurely afternoon. You can take a refreshing dip in the river, unwind at your accommodation, or take a gentle stroll to meet the friendly locals in the nearby village.

Day 2: The Ultimate Orangutan Encounter & Jungle Waterfall
At 08:30 AM, your certified English-speaking guides will lead you into the heart of Gunung Leuser National Park. As you trek through this ancient rainforest, keep your eyes peeled for Sumatran orangutans, gibbons, and vibrant peacocks. After a few hours of exploration, we’ll reach a secluded jungle waterfall—the perfect spot for a swim and a fresh fruit lunch. In the afternoon, dive deeper into the flora and fauna before choosing your return route: a leisurely walk back or an exhilarating traditional tube rafting trip down the river.

Day 3: Tangkahan – The Hidden Paradise & Elephant Conservation
Today, we head to Tangkahan, a serene protected area famous for its conservation efforts. Immerse yourself in the local ecosystem as you visit the Elephant Conservation Area. Here, you can participate in elephant bathing in the river and enjoy a trek through the lush landscape. The journey also offers a glimpse into local life, passing by rural farms, rubber trees, and palm plantations. After a day of nature and culture, we’ll drive back to your lodge in Bukit Lawang by late afternoon.

Day 4: Farewell to the Rainforest
Savor your final breakfast in the fresh jungle air and enjoy some free time to soak in the atmosphere of Bukit Lawang. At your scheduled departure time, our private transfer will take you back to your Medan hotel or the airport for your onward flight.
