Day 1: Arrival & Transition to the Wild

Your journey begins with a private greeting at Kuala Namu International Airport (Medan). Our driver will escort you on a 3–4 hour scenic drive through rural landscapes to the village of Bukit Lawang. After checking into your hotel, spend the evening preparing your gear or unwinding by the river.
